As a Tainui descendant from Kawhia, my journey with pounamu began when I moved to Christchurch. Being self-taught and deeply passionate about Aotearoa pounamu, I was inspired to learn more about its stories and cultural significance to Māori people.

Despite now being settled in Australia, I am determined to continue my pounamu journey and provide a connection for our people here. My goal is to share this unique experience and knowledge, offering insights into our rich history and the profound connection Māori have with one of their most precious resources.
